Travel, Compassion, and Coronavirus | Nolan Burris | TEDxRiverton

video thumbnail
It can sometimes take a crisis for our humanity to be revealed. Nolan states, “compassion is not a feeling, but I must admit it feels pretty darn good when you take action and help… because it is the right thing to do.”

Travel has the most power to bring us all together. Yes, travel can help spread a virus, but it can also be a remedy and one that can bring about the most change.

Nolan shares a passion for travel, compassion, and change after the Coronavirus pandemic. Nolan Burris is an author, former travel agent, failed musician and self-identified nerd. A popular international speaker, he has traveled the world focusing on success in life and business through vision and integrity. His mission is to spread the magic of human compassion in a techno-driven world.

Although born in Oklahoma, Nolan spent most of his adult life in Chicago. He moved to Vancouver, Canada in 1996 and has called it home ever since. After years of speaking, he is now spending more time in this remarkable city.

Staying connected to his roots in travel, he is currently serving as a consultant on a variety of talent development projects for Signature Travel Network. Signature is a large member-owned, global travel agency cooperative. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
