বিদায় সব সময় কষ্টের। আর তা যদি হয় যাদের সাথে একসাথে থাকা-পড়া হয়েছে তাহলে তা হৃদয়ে আরো কষ্টের হয়ে দাঁড়ায়। মাদ্রাসার ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা অনেকটা সময় একসাথে থাকে, কিন্তু একদিন প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষার সমাপ্তি গনিয়ে আসে। আর বিদায়ী মুহূর্তটাই শিক্ষার্থীদের হৃদয়কে ব্যাথাতুর করে দেয়। তাদের মনের কথাগুলোই যেন সুরে সুরে উচ্চারিত হয়ে এই বিদায়ী গজলে। এই কষ্টের গানটিই যেন তাদের মনের ব্যথাকে প্রকাশ করেছে।
