Amateur video footage from Friday's quake has emerged, showing the level of intensity and power of the tremor. Homes in Akto county in Xinjiang were badly shaken. Shakes were also felt in the neighboring Kashgar prefecture -- about 170 kilometers away from the epicenter. Customers at a local restaurant in that prefecture can be seen scurrying for safety. The overhead sign swung for more than ten seconds.
