Across the planet, food waste is growing. According to the United Nations, we throw out around one-third of the food produced for human consumption. Singapore is not bucking the trend, with its food waste increasing by 38% in the last 10 years. In 2014 Singapore threw out almost 790, 000 tonnes of food - where does this waste come from? Justin Bratton goes to the beginning of the food supply chain to find out.
