Chair Yoga for Seniors - Yoga for Seniors - Chair Yoga - Senior Yoga. This senior chair yoga class is especially designed for adults ages 50-75+. This seated chair yoga practice focuses on stretching, flexibility, and strength. Many modifications are shown throughout the chair yoga practice that make this class very accessible for senior citizens. The gentle yoga practice starts with a seated warm-up that brings awareness to the breath. Then the yoga class progresses into some deeper seated stretching and flexibility. The yoga practice ends in seated breath work that brings awareness to the breath to increase relaxation in the body.
