The season five premiere of Gossip Girl had coast to coast drama, with half the cast in Hollywood and the others in their old stomping grounds of the Upper East Side. In today's PopSugar Rush, BuzzSugar's Shannon Vestal is here to give us a rundown of the top three OMG moments from last night's episode. 3. A Pair of Pregnancies? The mystery caused by that positive pregnancy test at the end of last season still wasn't solved last night... "It's me who needs to confess." First Darota revealed she's having a second baby, but then Blair's wedding dress seamstress noticed the beginnings of a bump. Shannon Vestal: [no verbatim]—Blair doesn't deny being pregnant when her mom says she found What to Expect When You're Expecting, and even though she shoots down the seamstress, there seems to be something more to this story. But whose baby could it be? Chuck? Louis? Dan? They really leave us hanging again on this one. 2. A Chance Meeting With Charlie "Charlie!" Serena's cousin Charlie disappeared at the end of last season, and now we know where she wound up — LA — where Serena caught her off guard at a coffee shop. We knew that Charlie was truly Ivy, but we didn't know that she'd be back in the picture so soon. Plus, she's clearly living as a different person out west and now that Serena's there, too, it'll be interesting to see how she handles her double life. 1. Dan and Blair Plan a Getaway "Take me there/OK." Blair and Dan's complicated relationship takes another turn when Blair seeks him out to say she's planning to call off her wedding with Louis. She asks Dan to take her away and Dan agrees just before the prince pops back in the picture. Shannon Vestal [no verbatim]—There's so much going on here... Dan wrote a story about Blair that has some sort of major ending, and it really seems like they're going to run away together until Louis shows up and tells Blair he spent all evening trying to prevent the article from getting published. I have a feeling we haven't seen the end of the Dan and Blair saga. So many twists and turns and the season just started! Be sure to tune in to Gossip Girl, Tuesdays on The CW. |
