AGRICULTURAL VALUE CHAIN AND TRADE OPTIMISATION - THE AFRICAN STORY | ADEYEYE ADEWOLE | TEDxAdankolo |
|
THE AMOUNT OF UNTAPPED OPPORTUNITIES IN MODERN DAY AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES IN THE AFRICAN CONTINENT IS WHAT THE TALK SEEKS TO ENUMERATE AND ELABORATE IN CLEAR SIMPLE TERMS. Adewole Adeyeye was born on April 28, about three decades ago in Lagos State to Prince and Mrs. Festus Adeyeye
It is the belief of Adebowale that life should have a purpose of giving back and helping humanity rather than just leaving the responsibility of catering to the poor to the government. This ideology is what led to the existence of WAF. WAF began in 2016 after Adebowale observed the level of poverty and illiteracy in the northern region of the country. WAF engages in empowerment programs in agriculture and education for uneducated youths, women, and children in the society with the support of his agro-business Elan League International. Adebowale also uses WAF as a tool to push advocacy for better living and fair treatment for women, children and youths in the society. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx |
