[LIVE!] 2nd SpaceX Falcon 9 „Transporter-2“ launch attempt with NanoAvionics

video thumbnail
** As with every rocket launch, the date and times are tentative. **

This will be the second attempt at the SpaceX Transporter-2 launch as the first one was postponed on June 29th.

Two nanosatellites our team at NanoAvionics have built, named Tiger-2 and D2/Atlacom-1 will be launching to space with the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and their Transporter-2 mission on June 29th, 2021. 🚀

We will be hosting this launch event from our office along with our US colleagues and customers OQ Technology, SpaceJLTZ, Dragonfly Aerospace, and Accion Systems and you are invited to join the live stream as well!

Join us to share our excitement and learn more about our customers, their payloads, and NanoAvionics satellite buses on the launch day as we watch SpaceX place hundreds of satellites in orbit.

"Tiger-2" is a high-performance 6U nanosatellite built for OQ Technology and will be the world's first dedicated 5G Internet of Things (IoT) nanosatellite mission in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

The "D2/AtlaCom-1" is another high-performance nanosatellite, packing several rideshare payloads in its 6U volume from Accion Systems, and an international consortium called “HyperActive” comprised of Dragonfly Aerospace (South Africa), Space JLTZ (Mexico), and NanoAvionics US as a supplier to the consortium, as well as mission contributors Polytechnical University of Atlacomulco (Mexico), and CubeCom (South Africa).

Timeline:
T: -00:30:00 we will introduce you to the Tiger-2 and D2/Atlacom-1 satellites and guests
T: -00:15:00 we will switch to the SpaceX launch broadcast to witness the launch
T: +00:08:00 after successful Falcon 9 second stage orbital insertion and first stage landing, we will continue talking about the missions we are flying, building satellites, and all things space while we wait for confirmation of our satellite deployment.
