3 Reasons Why you should NOT increase your Ozempic (Semaglutide) or Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) dose |
|
Current protocols suggest increasing the dosing of Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) and Ozempic (Semaglutide) each month, so that patients often reach the highest dosing in 5-6 months. But in my clinical experience of prescribing the medication, I often see patients continuing to lose weight even on the lowest dosing. These patients have little to no side effects, feel great, continue to lose weight and appear to maintain their weight loss after going of the medication and using just a maintenance dose every 2-4 weeks.
