Karla Garcia-Pelagio is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Graduate Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine's Graduate Program in Life Sciences.
Karla is interested in applying her background in physics to biology as she explores new ways to help people with muscular dystrophy. Karla is already conducting research under the guidance of Dr. Robert Bloch.
