It performs like a standard elliptical. Overall, we found it to be comfortable and stable to use. Some of our favorite aspects of the 14.9 Elliptical is the 14” touch screen. It is enabled to use iFit which makes for an interactive training experience. With a subscription, iFit offers thousands of classes. You’ll have access to walking, running, hiking, and even ice skating and cross-country skiing classes. There are indoor classes specifically led by an instructor on the elliptical, too. We love the variety that iFit has to offer and that the 14.9 automatically adjusts to match the format of the class so you don’t have to worry about changing the resistance and incline. The NordicTrack 14.9 is large, as most ellipticals are, and heavy. It weighs about 210 lbs, but it comes with a built-in handle to lift the back end and wheel it around when needed. The steel frame definitely helps contribute to the weight and overall stability. Underneath the rear stabilizer are adjustable leveling feet to help prevent any rocking. The pedals are oversized to work for most sized users. They’re cushioned to help reduce stress on the joints and adjustable. You can adjust the angle of each pedal to help reduce numbness in your toes. The handles also accommodate for users of all heights with various different grip options. The stationary handles are nice when you want to focus on lower-body training and for getting on and off the machine since the pedals move even when it’s unplugged. The 32 flywheel is hearty and creates a smooth pedal stroke. The 14.9 is pretty quiet to use and should work for most home spaces. It offers 26 levels of resistance and 20 levels of incline for a challenging, low-impact, total body workout. Tall users might be constricted when fully inclined and the incline motor makes some noise when adjusting, but overall we’re really impressed with the NordicTrack 14.9 Elliptical and think you will be too. 0:00 - NordicTrack 14.9 Elliptical Review 0:37 - Construction Overview 7:27 - Console & iFit Content 14:10 - Functionality & Incline 16:09 - Larger User Functionality 16:50 - Conclusion #nordictrack #nordictrackelliptical #elliptical #ellipticalreview |
