Friday is another day to be Weather Aware in the Charlotte metro area as a line of storms will bring the threat of severe weather to the Carolinas. In this vlog, Chief Meteorologist Brad Panovich has the latest update, including timing, potential risks and a long-term severe weather forecast for the Charlotte region.

Heavy rain is possible, as are damaging winds, flooding and isolated tornadoes. The threat has diminished some and shifted east and south of Charlotte, but you can't rule out the possibility of severe weather anywhere in the Carolinas on Friday!
