These two models are two of the most popular at-home treadmills on the market. The Commercial 1750 starts at $1,500 and the Sole F85 starts at $1,800. These 5 star rated machines are both designed with quality decks, a 22” x 60” running area, and folding frames. These models also offer wireless heart rate monitoring and speed options that range from 0 to 12 mph. The drive system on the F85 is slightly more powerful with a 4.0 HP continuous duty motor, versus the 3.8 HP continuous duty motor of the Commercial 1750. However; the Commercial 1750 offers a decline and incline option while the F85 only inclines (both offer an incline of up to 15%). Coming to the console area, both offer great displays but they are pretty different. The Commercial 1750 is iFit enabled, while the F85 is not. Also, they both offer attractive display screens but the Commercial 1750 is a 7” web-enabled touchscreen display while the F85 lacks internet connectivity. The F85 does have a larger screen though at 9”. Overall, the Commercial 1750 provides a more customizable workout experience with more workout programs at 38, versus just 7 programs on the F85. These treadmills vary in size, but just slightly. Because the Commercial 1750 offers a decline option, it sets up higher off of the ground while the F85 is lower to the ground, is more narrow, and longer. And as with other comparisons against the Commercial 1750, it beats out the F85 when it comes to the warranty. While both offer lifetime coverage on the frame and motor, the Commercial 1750 offers 5 years on parts and electronics while the F85 offers 3 years on electronics. |
