Spread Triads - Intervallic and Melodic licks with Arpeggios! |
![]() |
Spread Triads is one of the best ways to get some larger intervals into you solos. Often a guitar solo that only uses scale runs and arpeggios can be a bit boring to listen to. We want to be surprised as listeners so it can be a great idea to work with structures with larger intervals like Spread Triads (or Open voiced Triads as they are also called)
For me Spread Triads are a great way to introduce some more intervallic ideas into my lines and still get them to sound melodic.
