Can you overwork your a knee after TKR? |
|
Over training is a common and often frustrating problem after a total knee replacements. Clients are so eager to gain full range of motion as quickly as possible that they often do too much too fast. Deliberate, short, frequent training sessions are often more effective than longer, harder training sessions to full exhaustion.
If you find that you are not recovering between sessions. If you feel that you are not improving in function and range of motion, I would ask you to talk to a physical therapist or surgeon and consider the fact that you may be doing too much during your training sessions. 📝 Blog: https://www.choosept1st.com/articles/top-5-mistakes-after-knee-replacement-surgery About the author: Hi, my name is Anthony (Tony) Maritato, PT.
