As an Israeli Arab who was born in Haifa, grew up in Nazareth, volunteered as a combat soldier in the IDF, and was gravely injured in the Second Lebanon War, he experienced the struggle of surviving in an unaccepting community. Through his talk, he shows that it is possible to build connections and break down even the longest standing stigmas and stereotypes between cultures.
