Equality is everyone’s right and everyone should have equal freedom to choose what they wish; thereby sharing insights into male dominance in few sectors and her empowerment for women in pharmaceutical sector, also giving revolutionary examples of women taking the world by power were the ideologies discussed by Bhavna Singh in her talk. A Communication Professional with close to 17 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Advertising and Brand Management, Marketing, Investor Relations & Financial PR, Research and Events, Bhavna has diverse experience across various industries including Service, Entertainment, IT, FMCG, Automobile, Engineering and now Pharmaceuticals.

As Director Communications, Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI), Bhavna is responsible for all communication (internal, external and brand) of OPPI. Working on advocacy programmes and industry representations, her work involves designing and implementation of communication strategies addressed to various stakeholders, including Government, regulatory authorities, the pharma industry and the media.

Bhavna is a recipient of the ‘Women In Leadership Award 2016’ for her work on gender diversity in the pharma industry with the OPPI 50 years commemorative publication “The Colour of White”.
