ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa has conceded that the ANC will face probably one of the most difficult elections in history.
He was speaking at the ANC NEC Lekgotla underway at Esselen Park east of Johannesburg. He also touched on some of the interventions to reduce load shedding to manageable levels. But he acknowledged that campaigning for the 2024 General elections will be an uphill battle for the governing party. Ramaphosa also outlined the negative economic impact that rolling blackouts have on businesses and society. This comes amid Eskom's continuous implementation of rolling blackouts, with the country currently enduring Stages 2 to 4 rolling blackouts.
