Jodok Batlogg is founder and CEO of Tree.ly - A climate-tech startup that rewards forest owners for storing carbon in their forests. He has successfully launched a few startups, including the distributed SQL database Crate.io and as CTO, led the tech teams of large web companies, for example by far biggest German-speaking website in 2010, StudiVZ. Jodok is an entertaining and experienced speaker at many venues, including high-profile conferences in US and EU, such as O'Reilly Strata Events, Nokia World, PyCon, Berlin Buzzwords, and Burda’s DLD event. Jodok enjoys wide recognition for his vision and expertise for innovative approaches. He served for several years as director of the Plone & Zope foundations. Loves his skis, his kitchen knife and is a beekeeper. Jodok Batlogg is founder and CEO of Tree.ly – a climate-tech startup that rewards forest owners for storing carbon in their forests. Climate change is the biggest challenge of our times. And it is happening now. The next few years will be deciding and will have the greatest impact.
