|
In this spoken word and dance performance entitled, "Broken Pieces We Seek to Amend", Africa Directions showcases how it connects with the audience using theatre. Africa Directions uses Music, Dance, and Theatre to connect with communities on developmental issues and preservation of artistic content. Employing a methodology known as Participatory Theatre for Change, Africa Directions engages communities to collectively research, critically analyse their own situations, and develop and perform artistic and cultural content that reflects their reality. The ultimate aim is to improve the quality of life, fulfilment of rights and facilitate social transformation towards a just and peaceful society
