Brown University President Christina Paxson officially opened the University’s 252nd academic year during Opening Convocation, Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at 4 p.m. on the College Green. Tricia Rose, professor of Africana studies and director of the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America, delivered the opening address titled “Unfinished.”
