This is the third of 12 episodes in a LEGO MOC series I'm calling 22-Ville, where I build up my new 2022 LEGO City full of unique and colorful houses for every LEGO Series 22 CMF. (Already 1/4 of the way done!) In the last episode, I built a LEGO toucan research station for the LEGO Birdwatcher, and in Episode 1 I built a Smurf-inspired mushroom house for the LEGO Forest Elf (AKA LEGO Acorn Boy). In this episode, we complete one more house in the LEGO forest area (there will be one more small one), the LEGO Troubadour's Forest Hideaway!

Based on my brief LEGO review of this LEGO minifigure, the LEGO Troubadour (AKA the LEGO Bard, obviously) would be in the top 3 of my hypothetical LEGO tier list of the new 2022 Collectible Minifigure Series. The bright blue and purple color scheme really pops, and the new LEGO lute (or LEGO mandolin, if you're THAT person) is phenomenal.

This LEGO collectible minifigure reminds me of the LEGO Forestmen faction of the classic LEGO Castle sets. He would fit right in with LEGO Robin Hood and his band of LEGO merry men! Rather than a mini LEGO tavern, I decided to go with something more in line with Robin Hood that would better fit the theme of the city. This Forest Hideaway (complete with a custom LEGO tree) was partially inspired by the Little People Robin Hood playset I had when I was little—I played with that thing for HOURS!

Finally, there's the matter of all of those LEGO minifigure hands. Where did I get that many LEGO hands for the LEGO thatched-roof of the lean to connected to the tree? Well, let's just say a lot of LEGO minifigs in my collection are currently handless... and I may have made a gameshow out of the whole ordeal called "Amputation Sensation!" It's really something else.

Is the bard class any good? I've never tried it...
