What if your family's future depended on a pet? In some parts of the world, a family's status and stability are directly tied to the health of an animal. Farah Samli, a doctoral student of infectious diseases, is developing a new way to make the vaccinations that protect these animals and their families more globally accessible.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
