WOW! SpaceX knocked it out of the park with the very first High-Altitude Flight Test. The world was watching it live and I tell you what, this is quite literally one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. Starship SN8 takes flight, then we saw the Blaze of Glory conclusion. As Elon tweeted afterward, "Mars, here we come!!". Elon Musk had estimated that this flight had a 33% chance of completing all objectives for the test, and I guess he was mostly right because it didn’t quite stick the landing. My gosh though every other milestone for the most part looks to have been successful. News is coming out as we talk about this of course and I’m sure there will be several improvements and hiccups in the flight to address, but who knows what the next flight with Starship serial Number 9 might improve on.
