Sigma Beauty co-founder, Dr. Simone Xavier, is a veterinarian from Brazil who came to the US to complete her PhD in swine infectious diseases at the University of Minnesota. The power couple used their backgrounds in science to develop and launch Sigma Beauty’s first brush set in 2009, immediately capturing a cult following.
