How big data can work for you | Han Stoffels | TEDxVenlo

Almost 90% off all people resent going to work. Technology has the answer! Despite the fact that technology is the main reason many jobs are disappearing, technology can also be the solution to our problems. For most people, finding the perfect job match is really difficult and time-consuming. Han believes that artificial intelligence, in the form of a personal matchmaking agent (AIMA) can reduce ‘mismatch unemployment’, lower the skills-job mismatch, reduce poor hiring and increase employee engagement. During his talk he’s going talk about the process, the benefits and the need for an AIMA. Han’s new horizon is that humans embrace technology and open up to the possibilties it has to offer.

Han has a technical background, and has had several business jobs the past 20 years. During this time he became very interested in innovation. In 2001 he started working at Wacom. Within a very short time the company made millions of revenue. Han found out the hiring process of its new employees was hard, so he stopped at the company in 2012. After a sabbatical he started developing his own software for a new revolutionary recruitment process.
