Just 150 years ago, SAMURAI in Aizu fought to the very last with dignity and loyalty to their beliefs. Now three fencers have traveled from France to Aizu, where the spirit of the LAST SAMURAI still survives today.
Carrying on the tradition of the European Knights, these fencers have come to learn the art of Kendo from Mr. Naganuma, a living SAMURAI. Through the training, Mr. Naganuma speaks of the samurai spirit.
What will the three students discover and learn through their first Kendo match, and in the town of Aizu in which echoes of the samurai way of life can still be heard?
