Former President Thabo Mbeki has launched a scathing attack on his successor, Jacob Zuma. He was speaking at the ANC National Executive Committee Lekgotla in Boksburg, following the NEC's decision to suspend Zuma.
According to a source who spoke to SABC News, Mbeki described Zuma's term of office as the counter-revolutionary years. He said the counter revolution had produced failure and disaster for the ANC. Mbeki said Zuma was directly involved in capturing SARS and Eskom and that his conduct had immensely contributed to the bad narrative that the ANC government suffered today.
