* The State is expected to argue against the bail application of five men accused of the murder of rapper, Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane in the Durban magistrate's court today.

The ruling party says it will address the issue in the High Court in Durban today.Members of the Umkhonto we Sizwe Party in KwaZulu-Natal say they are optimistic that the court will rule in their favour. * Organisers from The Robben Island Museum have unveiled a memorial exhibition dubbed the "12 disciples of Justice" at Stikland Cemetery in Bellville, Cape Town. This is in honour of the 12 ex-political prisoners who died during their incaceration in the 1960s. Robben Island Museum authorities say this is part of commemorating and conserving the historical role of the prisoners, other activists and detainees. * The South African Human Rights Commission will today honour Chief Albert Luthuli and other human rights activists and defenders for their relentless work in the protection of human rights. The event will take place at Luthuli Museum in Groutville, in KwaZulu-Natal. Community activists who have dedicated or continue to dedicate their lives and efforts in defending human rights will also be recognised.
