I've missed making these KEVA physics simulations. I wanted to wrap up a few projects I had going, a lot of them involving Phymec inspired KEVA plank physics simulations in LuxRender. I had lots of tower collapse simulations that I had never got round to rendering, so I rendered them all in this LuxRender orange plank style.

LuxRender has some great results and every time I use it the render speed blows me away. These still took, collectively, about 2 weeks to render but when you bear in mind how realistic the shading is (and the fact they're in 4K ultra HD!) it doesn't seem too bad.

I've been tempted recently to move away from Blender, and start working in something more industry standard. But Blender is still my favourite simulation software, because of just how versatile it is! Blender physics looks awesome, and it's got such a wide variety of simulation engines.
