Exactly one week later, as thousands of residents were just beginning to get their power back on, WRAL-TV5 broadcast this 5News Special Presentation. From the early WeatherCenter predictions to the final destruction, this hour-long special presents an eyewitness account of Hurricane Fran's fury as seen through the cameras of WRAL-TV5 News.

Also included is an additional hour of raw footage documenting the destruction from North Carolina's coast to the Triangle. All net proceeds from the sale of this tape go to local agencies helping the victims of the storm.
