The main difference between the two treadmills is the decline setting.

The Nordictrack EXP 10i offers an incline setting of -3 to 12%, allowing for a wider range of workout intensity when compared to the Nordictrack EXP 7i’s 0 – 12% incline. The Nordictrack EXP 10i, being the more recent treadmill of the two, offers its users both incline and decline settings. For incline, it offers a setting of up to 12% which is great for those intense workouts whenever you need them. When it comes to decline, it offers a setting of up to 3% which is pretty decent. Comparably, the Nordictrack also offers the same 12% incline setting that makes for great climbing exercise.
