You can easily sync text messages between iPhone and Mac. Syncing your text messages allow you to use both Mac and iPhone to send and receive text messages.

You can simply start on your Mac computer and launch the messages app.
Sign in to your Apple ID and press next.

On your iPhone, go to settings and messages. Select text message forwarding. Now, you can send text messages from your iPhone or your Mac and they will be synced between both devices.
