In this AP Daily: Live Review session for AP Art History, we will review the skills used to complete the required tasks for the Long Essay – Comparison question, using sample questions and scoring rubrics.
We will closely examine the language of an FRQ #1 prompt and discuss the following skills that address that prompt: how to select an appropriate work for comparison, how to select appropriate visual and contextual evidence, how to create comparative claim statements, and how to support comparative claims using visual and contextual evidence. This session will end with an optional FRQ practice prompt on Islamic architecture for students to complete prior to the next session.
