The Sole E25 Elliptical is a budget-friendly elliptical. It has a traditional elliptical stride but is a bit more compact than other ellipticals. The E25 is a great option for petite exercisers who have found other elliptical designs uncomfortable due to their large range of motion. The geometry of this elliptical reduces the amount of twisting you experience, which is better for exercisers with back pain.

An LCD screen shows all of your metrics. It is only 7.5 inches and it is rather busy, but it is backlit for easier viewing during low lighting. The E25 is not ideal for shoppers looking for a high-tech elliptical with onscreen video content. However, the E25 can be paired via Bluetooth with a smart device for training. The free Sole Plus app keeps track of your workout history and provides trainer-led content when used with Sole equipment. The content is very good for a free platform.

The Sole E25 has 20 levels of magnetic resistance and 20 levels of incline. While the incline does not make exercising on the elliptical more challenging, it does target your glutes and quads more. The resistance is easy enough at low levels for recovery exercise and for new users. The harder levels provide enough challenge for even experienced elliptical users.

There are onboard programs that can be adjust for their time and maximum intensity level. You can also program up to two custom programs or use a heart rate monitor for heart rate zone training.
