Tip of the Week: Dealing with rust

If you've owned a car in Canada, you've undoubtedly seen the rust monster rear its ugly head once or twice.

If you're going to apply a rust inhibitor to your vehicle, it's best to do so when the vehicle is new or close to it.

So what do you do if rust has already started to form?

As Motoring TV mechanic Bill Gardiner explains in this Tip of the Week, the solution depends on the location.
