My mom read the news every day. How journalism connects us. Florence Rogers is the CEO of Nevada Public Radio news station. Nevada Public Radio also publishes Desert Companion Magazine. They have radio stations all over Nevada including their music station in Reno NV 89. Flo came to the US in 1988 to be a student at San Diego State University and has worked in radio and media since she graduated from there. Flo was on the NPR national board for 6 years.
