Irritable Bowel Syndrome has two components, one is there are psychological components that will increase the movements of the bowel and in type 1 there will be lot of loose motions because the intestines are working faster than usual. So whatever food increases that type of movements, especially the irritant type of food, spicy food, mirchi type of food shave to be reduced, if possible to be avoided. The other is the one that causes a lot of flatulence , can increase the Irritable Bowel Syndrome. So individually one has to observe which sort of food causes for them Irritable Bowel, then they have to reduce that.
