Deborah Gellner is a solicitor with over 25 years’ experience acting for the dispossessed and marginalised. This has included the homeless, the mentally ill and impoverished migrants of various types. She currently works for a small legal charity, the Asylum Support Appeals Project, which provides representation at Tribunal appeal hearings for destitute asylum seekers who are refused support. She has also completed a Masters in Migration Studies and taught law at Sussex University, and writes regularly on migrant support law for Legal Action magazine.
