Journalism of Bias to Journalism of People | Abhinandan Sekhri | TEDxHansrajCollege

video thumbnail
In this talk, Abhinandan talks about his adventures through life. He started working as a correspondent at Newstrack in his third year of college and has never looked back. His passion for the dissemination of correct information made him see and want to tackle the decay of journalism being experienced countrywide. Do Indians still prefer clickbait news, or is there a shift towards substantial journalism? Watch Abhinandan decode this conundrum. A man on the mission to make India an information powerhouse, Abhinandan Sekhri speaks straight from the shoulder. Born in Dehradun and an alumnus of Hansraj College, Delhi University, he is the Co-Founder of Newslaundry & Small Screen; a Director, Producer-Writer, and Entrepreneur. As someone who has worked in the field of journalism for over two decades, his opinions surely weigh heavy. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
