Joseph McBride, MA, MD, presents a talk about studies on the use and effectiveness of probiotics. Dr. McBride is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Disease in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Medicine. He completed his MD and residency training at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois and his fellowship in Infectious Disease at UW-Madison. Dr. McBride's clinical interests include general adult and pediatric infectious disease, transplant infectious disease, HIV care, and tropical infections. The title of his February 15, 2019 Grand Rounds talk is "Probiotics: Magic Pill or Load of Waste? What Does Your Gut Say?"
