Cindy D. Davis, PhD presents a lecture for Department of Medicine Grand Rounds during the department’s 10th annual Research Day event at the UW-Madison Health Sciences Learning Center. Dr. Davis is the Director of Grants and Extramural Activities in the Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS). Prior to joining the NIH, Dr. Davis was a Program Director in the Nutritional Sciences Research Group at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and before that, a research nutritionist at the US Department of Agriculture, where her work focused on the effect of trace minerals—particularly selenium and copper—on cancer susceptibility. The title of Dr. Davis’ June 9, 2017 Grand Rounds talk is "Diet, Microbiome and Health: Past, Present & Future.”
