An eight-year-old boy recently went viral in China after he was seen crying in a call to family after being rescued from fitness equipment. His concern? Not his health, but his teacher.

The video caught by firefighters in Wei Baqun Square in Hechi city, southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on Thursday shows firefighters cut off the fitness rocking chair and rescue the little boy stuck in it. To the surprise of the firefighters, when they wanted to send the boy to hospital, he insisted on calling his family first. He asked his sister to contact his teacher and request a leave for him so he wouldn't get in trouble for being absent.
