-- PRESENTATION: TENDO RYU NAGINATAJUTSU --
Founded by Saito Denkibo in 1582, the Tendō Ryū boasts a technical curriculum that supposedly covers multiple battle situations. Although it is mostly known nowadays for its Naginata (Japanese halberds) techniques, the Tendō Ryū actually includes studies of a variety of other weapons. The long and short sword, the usage of two swords simultaneously, the dagger, the staff (representing a broken Naginata), and the Kusarigama, are also part of the practice.
