The Proform 5000 spots a more powerful 4.0CHP motor compared to the Nordictrack 1750 3.75CHP motor.
With a more powerful motor the treadmill is capable of handling better. However, Nordictrack has updated its 1750 2020 model with a new interactive drive system. Now you get two motors one for your inclines and another for speed control. This allows the treadmill to respond faster during virtual trails.
