The wait is almost over for the orbital launch of SpaceX's Starship |
|
We are in the home stretch to the orbital launch.
We are also gearing up for a first static fire of Raptor 2 engines! Everyday Astronaut recently tweeted asking Elon, how will SpaceX perform the first static fires on the orbital booster? Just one at a time at first is what we learned from Elon. So we wont see SpaceX fire the inner cluster and the outer ring to test Raptor 2's like some of us thought ...but do we think all these individual static fires will be in one test or spread out? what do you think? 394 feet fully stacked 30 feet in diameter so everyone is pretty confident the faa will release its final report soon but when do we think the launch will be? Thanks to my friend Bill Carton for some awesome insight and @LabPadre for making a quick cameo at the end of this video! _______________________ Hi! I am now FULL TIME Ellie in SPACE!
