You can add EMAIL reminders to your appointments in Microsoft Outlook calendars in the Microsoft 365 version.
Open the calendar event/appointment/meeting from your Microsoft 365 web account. Open the reminder drop-down and scroll to the bottom to choose Add email reminder.
