Adult tiger hit by car along highway in Bentong

An endangered male Malayan tiger was killed after being hit by a car at KM50 of the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway near Lentang today.

Pahang Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) director, Rozidan Md Yasin, said the adult tiger was believed to have been struck while attempting to cross the dual-carriageway at about 1:20am.
