Shōbōgenzō Bendōwa 弁道話 'A Talk about Pursuing the Truth' by Eihei Dōgen (1200-1253). The translation is by my Zen ‘grandfather’ Gudō Wafu Nishijima (1919-2014) and his student, Mike Chodo Cross. It is read aloud for the benefit of those who have difficulty with reading for any reason. The text itself is available here: http://www.thezensite.com/ZenTeachings/Dogen_Teachings/Shobogenzo_1_NC.pdf
