About Kate Greene
With nearly 20 years of experience in all aspects of graphic design and communications, CEO Kate Greene has developed expertise in branding, concepting, art direction, client management and team leadership. Her expansive background includes brand identity, web design, consumer and B2B print and digital communications, infographics and more.

Kate received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from the University of Connecticut and was a New England Scholar in 2001and 2002. Her work has received numerous awards, including multiple Davey Awards and Awards of Excellence from the Connecticut Art Directors Club, where she eventually sat on the board. An entrepreneur by nature, Kate started her own design firm, Think Greene Creative, just five years after graduating from college. In 2012 she expanded it with a software development division and a new name, Owl’s Head Solutions.

Although she’s an award-winning designer, Kate sees her role through a wider lens, focusing on big-picture thinking and problem-solving. As Owl’s Head has grown—and pivotal in helping Owl’s Head to grow—Kate has moved beyond her creative capabilities, developing an overarching vision for the agency and realizing that vision by building and leading remarkable teams in design, development and client services.

She has developed a passion for—and continues to be motivated by—her team’s work in the healthcare space, with a focus on health advocacy, public health, and sexual/reproductive health.

With Kate at the helm, Owl’s Head Solutions offers clients full-scale design and technological solutions to any creative communications challenge—healthcare-focused or otherwise. Known for out-of-the-box thinking, smart design, cutting-edge technological solutions, outstanding execution and close, and enduring client relationships, Kate and Owl’s Head’s mantra is simple: “We can always find the perfect solution.”
